Rules & Regulations for the $10,000 Drawing
1. The drawing for all prizes will be at the East Bridgewater Commercial Club on Sunday November 30, 2008 at 2 pm. the event starts at 1 pm.
2. There will be only 325 tickets sold for the event. If a minimumof 275 tickets are not sold a full refund will be mailed within 30 days.
3. The value of the grand prize will be treated as orinary income to the winner for federal and state income tax purposes. The winner may be required to prepay a portion of the tax laibility prior to receiving the prize.
4. The IRS has taken the position that no portion of the ticket price will qualify as a contribution for tax purposes.
5. The estimated percentage of ticket price will be used for charitable purposes, in the event that only the minimum tickets (275) are sold the % will be 30%.
6. The proceeds of the raffle will be used to purchase Neilsen Ave.
7. Winners must provide proper identification.
8. Depositing the ticket or any other material in connection with the raffle in the federal mails is a violation of federal law and may lead to criminal penalties.
